I frequently make a version of this spinach with sesame oil and white pepper, salt but really enjoy this version with doenjang. It's great to keep and use as a banchan/side dish or top it on bibimbap.
TIME 15 minutes
INGREDIENTS
- 150g spinach
- 1 scallion, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon infrared roasted sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon infrared roasted sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons doenjang
INSTRUCTIONS
- Blanch spinach for 1-2 minutes. Drain, rinse under cold water and squeeze to release excess water.
- In a mixing bowl add spinach and rest of the ingredients. Mix well. Serve as a side dish or as part of a bibimbap.
