SALTWORT INFUSED SOLAR SEA SALT Hand harvested in Sinui island within the Shinan region, a UNESCO-designated biosphere reserve, The Salt Company's 100% natural-unrefined solar sea salt is made using just ocean water and the sun. Evaporated on the coast of the Yellow Sea, the solar sea salt is aged at the minimum of 3 years then infused with saltwort grown from the island. The traditional production method used to create the solar sea salt has recently been designated an Intangible Cultural Heritage by The Korean Cultural Heritage Administration.
